Hello
I need to know if is possible on the machine with Windows98 and Microsoft office 97, install the runtime of access 2003 to run an application build in access 2003.
Also, i need to know if that can cause any problem because office 97 is already install, and how i can do that properly without any problems.
Where i do install the runtime (specific folder or new folder) and how i call my program through the runtime.
Could you give me some sites for helps on this subject ?
Many thanks

Luis,
You're asking for trouble. My company has developed software that's been using Access runtimes since version 97 and Win95, so we've run into a lot of situations and configurations. The only place to look is microsoft's website for deployment of the runtime. Even if it says that an Access 2003 runtime is supported on Win98 doesn't mean it will work. You're trying to load the latest and greatest on an old system. Adding to the risk of trouble is the PC that's it on. It has an old processor, less memory and a load of software on it that's prone to conflicts (outside of Access 97).
Only way to see is to go ahead and do it. I'm not optimistic. Good luck.
Mike
