I am trying to install RS on a IIS server and have the RS DB on different server. As soon as I get to the part of the install where it creates the RS database I get a login failure. I have tried running the RS Service under the local account and a domain account using a SQL Server account fo the DB login and neither has worked. With an explicit SQL login I am getting an SSPI error.
Any ideas?

Is the SQL server on a different domain or are these boxes setup local accounts only and is the SQL server defiend as Windows Accounts only or SQL and Windows accounts?

Both boxes are int the same domain. The SQL Server is running under a Domain account and allows both SQL and Windows logins. I have tried setting up the RS service to use a domain account (same as SQL is running under) and as the local account then using a defined domain account. I should say that I am using RS Developer Edition.
