RS Book Recommendations

  • Hey folks, I'm looking at possibly moving away from a Cognos Infrastructure to Reporting Services mainly due to the price point for Cognos, and I was hoping I could get someone to recommend a decent book.

It'd be nice if it had a decent amount on setting up a secure infrastructure as well as best practices for creating and distributing reports.

    thanks in advance.

  • Pro SQL Server 2005 Reporting Services

This is by far the best book on RS I have come across.  If the link is not working for you, just go to amazon.com and search for Rodney Landrum.

  • This one is for RS 2000, but the majority of it applies to 05. I like this one because it really digs into the inner workings of RS.
