  Getting 'rpc server is unavailable error while installing sql server 2016'  and works if I click retry until it completes successfully.

  Checked dns suffix and they are in correct order.

  What else I check to fix this issue?

  followed below this link, and verified everything that has discussed here and all looks good.

  did you try proceeding with the default name and later change it to service account
