Hi there.
I've created a role and limited certain dimension attribute members so that users can only see data relevant to their role.
The problem I'm having is when browsing the cube data using the browser tab in visual studio - whereby the total row displays the correct amount, but then the grand total seems to include a higher value (hence aggregating some llines that are non existent in the grid!). Anyone know why this may be?

I may be speaking sideways here, but I have a vague recollection that it is very difficult to do this type of security for exactly this reason. Even though the security restricts the detail output the cube still knows there is more data and displays the existing aggregations which I believe are role unaware.
If someone knows this to be false, please enlighten me, as I am really not very sure.
