Role Based Security Issue

    Hi

    I have deployed few reports on the server and was configuring item level security. I added users to Browsers role where they can only view reports however they are able to see the properties and data source and able to modify or delete the report.

    What could be reason that they are able to modify the reports .

    your post is a bit confusing. You dont add users to site settings -> item level roles. You add the users to the folders or reports that you have deployed and under the security tab for the folder or the report - choose the security tab, add the user, and assign them a role (in this case Browser). They should only be able to view the report at that point.
