Hi guys,
Do you need to have sa rights to run jobs? i suspect not, if not what access rights do you need in sql server to be able to run jobs? prompt response much appreciated. Thanks

You need to be a memeber of the TargetServersRole role in the msdb database. I have a feeling that this role grants more than just execute permissions though. Best to check it out.

well...u dont need to have sa rights to run a job.
But u got to use the server service account configured to make sure the jobs are running... It would be your windows SQL service account on which backup and other jobs run.
