We are running SSRS 2012 in Native mode and just started getting the following error when trying to render some reports on our Dev SSRS server:
'The RIF document is not compatible with this code version. Document Version: 200 Code Version: 100 (rsIncompatibleRIFVersion'
The error appears when right clicking on the report and choosing 'Manage' as well as when trying to render the reports. It's happening on reports that were deployed in the past month and were working at the time they were originally deployed as recently as 2 weeks ago. It's not happening on older reports deployed from the same solution. Redeploying the rdls did not fix the issue. Does anyone know what would cause this error to suddenly appear? The same rdls are still working on our production server but without knowing the cause I'm afraid they'll suddenly stop working there too.

I was able to find the source of the problem and this is now resolved. We are running on a load balanced server and even though IT thought they had upgraded both instances to SP1 a few weeks ago, the installation had failed on one of the servers. Once SP1 was successfully installed on that server the error messages went away.
