Accomplishments:
During my studies at DeVry University I have completed many programs using a variety of programming languages. I was part of a small group that designed, developed and implemented a web based timecard program for Walt Disney Studios that allowed employees to enter estimated and actual work time for various projects. The program also provided a secure login with differing levels of access according to job title. This program was written in JAVA utilizing Servlets, JSP, HTML, Tomcat and a PointBase database. I have also written several programs in C++ to include an appointment scheduler and inventory control program. I have created over 20 websites in the last two years that involved the use of HTML, XML, javascript, MS Access, SQL Server,VB.NET, ASP.NET, Apache Tomacat and MS IIS. Most of these sites were created using free hosting services such as Angelfire.com. However, several required me to run my own server using either Tomcat or MS IIS. Using VB.NET and Microsoft Access I also designed and developed an executable program that keeps track of inventories, purchases, prices, and average costs associated with them. Along with my varied programming accomplishments, I have been a team leader of several project teams and have given over 40 presentations using MS PowerPoint, MS Project, MS Visio, and other technologies.
