WHAT I'M DOING
Restoring a backup from tape (LTO Ultrium 2) to SQL 2005 on Windows Server 2003 using PowerVault Dell 110T.
SQL Server Error Message(error Number:3239): An exception occurred while executing a Transact-SQL statement or batch.
The backup set on device '\\.\Tape0' uses a feature of the Microsoft Tape Format not supported by SQL Server.
RESTORE FILELIST is terminating abnormally. (.Net SqlClient Data Provider)

This is the first time i'm doing a restore, any ideas ??
I'm right-clicking on the database >>tasks>>restore>>database...selecting tape as the source and then getting this message after clicking OK.

Was the backup on the tape saved directly to tape, or was it a SQL backup to disk then backed up to tape? If the later you might have to restore the tape to disk first, then to the database restore.
