Restoring Database from sql 2000 to sql 2005

    Hi,

    We have planned to upgrade our database from sql server 2000 to sql server 2005, In the sql 2000 i have created a log shipping for a database in same server, if i restore that database in sql 2005 that log shipping database will be retored are it will be deleted..what shall i do??

    Your sentence doesn't make much sense.

    Once the database is restored on SQL 2005, it is converted to that format. Log shipping should still work, but if you ever failover, you are stuck on 2005.
