Alex,
Make sure SQLService account has modify privilege to the path "C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL.1\MSSQL". If not provide modify privilege to SQLService account and then try restoring the database.

Yup, looks like a permissions problem. Just note, it's the SQL Server Service account that needs rights to that directory. Not the account that you are logged in as.
