  Hi... is there a reason why a database would not be able to be restored if the replication agent happened to be going while it was being backed up? I am able to start a restore of a database but it will not load. the error is that "replication is active"... has anyone ever heard of this?

  You cannot restore a database if there is any active connection to the database.

  Are you using the KEEP_REPLICATION option?
