You have helped me greatly in the past and i though you might be able to share some ligh on the problem i am having. Its to do with SQL agent and the backups of our database which it did not perform.And now i am in great deal of panic.
I found myself in a really unplesant situation with a database i was working on. One of the system was suposivly getting backed up by SQL agent but appears to be not.This morning my server ran out of space and one of the services started deleting data. It appears to be some really important data. When i went to the backups they apeared to be corupted and i can not restore the database. So what was SQL agent backing up i dont really know.....It says files Incomplete when i try and restore from backups.
What i have at the moment is a database with around 1000 deleted records and the log file. IS there any possible way that i can restore what data was deleted and restore that from the LDF file?I know exactly at what time this occured today. If it requires for me to develop something i will spend the time.If you can only point me in the right direction.
I had a look in the logs for SQL agent and the logs are clear. They say that the backups were done succesfully but the file that SQL agent has produced are not usable for the backup.That is really strange.
Any help or ideas?

If u have any thirdy party tools like Log Viewer try with that.

You can evaluate ludimate's log explorer or apexsql log versions...
