Restore DB to NAS Shared Directory

  When i try to restore MS SQL Server 2005 database to NAS shared directory I get the following error.

  The operating system returned the error '5(Access is denied.)' while attempting 'RestoreContainer::ValidateTargetForCreation.

  Tried the followings but no help. Please help me, Thanks for your helps, appreciated.

  1. Checked all permissions, all look OK

  2. Did set TRACE Flag 1807

  Looks like the problem comes, when SQL engine tires to write data to data files or when SQL engine tries to expand the Data files.

  seems that the account running mssql service does not

  have access to the location on the NAS.
