Restore DB to another server - CDC not working anyway

  Hi,

  I restored a SS2008R2 db to another server. The KEEP_CDC flag was on. All the CDC-Systemtables were copied, but when I make an UPDATE-query for one row in a table the corresponding CDC-system table is not showing the change.

  I did this before and never had any issues like this. I'm not sure if the restore really keeps all CDC functionality, it seems I never checked this behaviour before. :ermm:

  start the SQL Server Agent and all is fine:-D
