Hi All,
I have an instance (Instance2) with some of the databases which are replicated as the subscribers from another instance (Instance 1 as the publishers). I have transactional replication in place.
If I restart my second instance (Instance 2) how will replication be affected? Will it resume from the point it stopped or do I need to reconfigure replication? Any Ideas
Thanks,
Suri

Could anyone help?

You could stop the relevant agent jobs on the publisher instance.
As this is transactional replication, better to stop and disable the below jobs on publisher.
-> Log reader job
-> Distribution job
After you restart the subscriber instance, enable and start the above jobs in publisher.

Also, make sure to perform the same steps to the snapshot agent job on the publisher if it is enabled or scheduled to run by any chance.
