Hi,
Happy Friday! ..I see the sql server was restarted in "dashboard". However how to confirm why and by whom it was restarted. I checked the restart notification and it says it was DBC agent but would like to confirm if it was a person or job that did it.
I checked the windows server and it was "not restarted" it was only the sql server "restarted" by "Service Control Manager". Also I see few message before the incident that I/O was frozen and then resumed. Please share your thoughts?

Hi,
IO Frozen locks like backup software with snapshots.
What about scheduling, agent jobs, external tasks?
Kind regards,
Andreas

Sure, what I found was sql server was restarted to fix an issue with an APP server. That is what was informed. All things are running stable so no worries.
Thanks again!
