I received an email from someone on the board today. It doesn't have a user name, but it does have their email address. I'd rather not respond to the email directly because that gives out my address. But how do I do it otherwise? Is there a way to find them here on the board by email address? I can't see it if there is.

Not that I'm aware. Maybe ask Steve to do a query against the DB.
I've asked that the username be included for exactly this reason. Personally, unless the email comes from one of a small number of people, it just gets deleted.

I read them, but I don't want to send out my work email address if I don't have to (it's pretty much all over the place anyway, but I try).

I reply to PM's but not emails, unless from a select few users. I actually use PM's instead of email in most cases also.
