Hi Folks,
We have implemented Resource Governor on our PROD environment, few of SQL Server Authentication account refuse to follow appropriate allocated workgroup it's utilizing thru default group. We need to avoid such wrong mapping, it should use appropriate classifier function. Please share your thoughts to fix our current issue.
In Detail:
Example: RG1 and RG2 are two different workgroup, thru classifier function account called "SQL1" has allocated to use thru RG1 workgroup, but failing to do so 100%.
It's using Default workgroup for 50% connection.
Remaining 50% of SQL1 account using correctly thru RG1.

Hi All,
Got an solution !!
It's very simple, just restart your SQL Server Engine Service. It will help to create a new connection from application end with new SessionID. Now, all the accounts mapped/working accordingly with it's respective WorkGroup. Resource Governor simply splits the resources as per our convenient. Thanks Everyone !! 🙂
