Do we need to take the backups for ReportserverTempdb or can we omit as tempdb?

I believe the ReportServer TempDB is a "scratch" db and shouldn't need to be parrt of your backups.

That is not correct because when you move the ReportServerDB you also need ReportServerTempDB before running the relevant configurations. That is what Microsoft covered you need it in hardware failure which is rebuild.
You back it up in simple recovery mode because if you have to rebuild or move SSRS to new server your new server needs both databases loaded into the Master before the relational engine can start SSRS. Check below for the guideline from Microsoft.
