ReportServer Email Setup

    Helo everyone,

    I'm trying to setup email-delivery. I'm getting the error message above : Failure sending mail: The transport failed to connect to the server. When researching on this, i found out, because we are using exchange 2003 server, that i must specify the name of the SMTP gateway to that server. The question is how?

    In - Configure Report Server - snap in, i can specify the SMTP server like exchange.domain.net but how do i specify the name of the SMTP gateway?

    I would talk to your Exchange admin. All I did was type in the IP address of the SMTP server and it worked.

    Thank you for your answer, I got it to work finally, i checked the config-file and found that the smtp port was set to 80... instead of 25, when i changed that value it all worked...
