Hi all,
my reportserver db started growing enormously from few days and when i started looking in the logs I found
Could not allocate space for object 'dbo.ServerParametersInstance'.'PK_ServerParametersInstance' in database 'ReportServer' because the 'PRIMARY' filegroup is full.
we expanded the database but it took almost 20gb within 4 days of time.
the table 'serverparametersinstance' in reportserver db is growing very large, it has 22,701,195 rows and
growing by every minute.
can anyone please help me why this table is used for and why its growing so rapidly.
please let me know how to control this.
Thanks in advance.

Hi there,
Can't give you any definitive answers I'm afraid but we are having a similar issue with the ServerParametersInstance table. Ours is keeping 180 days worth of info (based on the Expiration column) and is over 1 GB in size.
From what I can gather from Googling, it may be OK to amend the StoredParametersLifetime entry in the ConfigurationInfo table to reduce this to a smaller retention period but I'd be grateful if someone who actually knows what they are talking about could confirm this before I try it out.
