Hi we are wondering if anyone had this happen to them? Our reporting services simply stopped communicating with our application. It all happened after someone changed the database system administrator password. Grant it before the password was blank but the database was only intranet only. Anyhow since the change of the password, reporting services no longer function.

Have you tried to open the report manager to see if there are any messages? Or does it just come back blank?

First of all check your "Reporting Services configuration" settings under Programs -> MSSQL -> Configuration Tools. With which account is your Reporting Services Service accessing the Database?
You could even start SQL Server Profiler and check for errors when starting the Service or trying to access reports or reportserver sites.
You should check the Reportserver logs under <Your SQL Server Installation Path>\MSSQL.3\Reporting Services\LogFiles for errors.
Check your system's event logs.
Check SQL Server logs in Management Studio. Check for database inconsistency with dbcc.
Hope this helps,
Stefan
