    I loaded 2008 express on someone machine (free version),I can view my tables and views,but I can run reports,anyone knows why?

    The ReportViewer 2008 does not run in SQL Server 2008 Express because it cannot run in local mode, you need a full licensed SQL Server to run reports in SQL Server 2008 Express.

    If you need to run reports in SQL Server Express use SQL Server 2005 Express Advanced tool kit edition.
