Please help! I have looked thru the forum, and I see someone recently had an issue similar, but no resolution that I saw...
I have RS that I moved to a new box...following this doc: http://www.awprofessional.com/articles/article.asp?p=357694&seqNum=2&rl=1 and I am Scenerio B with the backup key. I installed the product, I restored the DB's, I restored the key, I installed RS SP2 and now, I get this message: This edition of Reporting Services does not support web farm deployment. (rsInvalidRSEditionConfiguration). There is no extended help. I am not running a web farm. I have the DB and the RS on the same server.
Ideas??
Cory

Well, Due to time, I ended up removing the key information, and then it was working. Since I was unable to find what to do, I figured I would post this in hopes it will help others.

too late for you, but it may help others or in the future.
I was faced with the same message (This edition of Reporting Services does not support web farm deployment. (rsInvalidRSEditionConfiguration).
Was able to resolve it by manually removing the rows referring to the old <InstallationID> from the keys table in the ReportServer database.

should add that the easiest way to do this is:
rskeymgmt -r <installationId>

Yes, it worked by manually removing two rows of old installation ids in the Keys table. Make a copy of the Keys table before deleting rows.
rsKeymgmt -r <installationId>
The question is how to identify old installationId.
I struggled for a day to move RS to another server, so I thought I need to post this to help others.
Thanks a lot for your postings
Steve
