I have SQL Reporting Services up and running.
I can connect via IE browser, but when I am in SQL Management Studio and click "CONNECT OBJECT EXPLORER" and select SERVER TYPE of REPORTING SERVICES with SERVER NAME of ccxxspdb020\CC_IET (which is the sql instance where the reportserver databases reside, and the IIS site runs), and have AUTHENTICATION of WINDOWS AUTHENTICATION, I get a message....
TITLE: Connect to Server
------------------------------
Cannot connect to CCXXSPDB020\CC_IET.
------------------------------
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Unable to connect to the remote server (Microsoft.SqlServer.Management.UI.RSClient)
------------------------------
No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it 10.243.254.107:80 (System)
------------------------------
BUTTONS:
OK
------------------------------
Any help would be appreciated....THX!

I found the problem.
Within the rsreportserver.config file located in c:\program files\microsoft sql server\mssql.3\reporting services\reportserver
there is a line that looks like this:
<UrlRoot>http://ccxxspdb014/reportserver$cc_iet</UrlRoot>
It should have ccxxspdb020 instead of 014....wrong server name!!!:hehe:
