Reporting Services Migration from Delopment to Production Server

    Hi all,

           does someone knows how to migrate some reports from one server to another?

           I have some reports in development server and I would like to migrate them to production server.

     

           Does anyone knows how to do it ?

    When you develop reports your reports RDL is stored in the catalog table in the ReportServerDB but the Master of the new server have no record of the ReportServerDB and ReportServerTempDB. 

     The first link below covers how to move the SSRS databases the second covers all other related issues, the reason is moving Reporting services is a lot of work and anything can go wrong.  This will get you started.

    I'd personally use the rs.exe utility to run scripts that do the moves for you. I've seen tools that will create the scripts for you, but they don't seem to work in our environment, where the different servers are also on different domains.
