I am configuring a SQL 2005 server that will serve in a disaster recovery role. Nothing fancy, no Clustering, Mirroring, Log Shipping, etc. The plan is to restore databases from backups. The DR server has a different name and IP from the prod server and is live within the domain.
Question:
Reporting Services is already installed on the DR server. Can I just restore the production ReportServer database to the DR system to get all of our report definitions, etc. Is it as simple as that or are there other things to be considered?

Actually NO because you also need the ReportServerTemp DB to recover because the migration tool must extract some information from both databases. And you also need both to upgrade so you need to backup both.

Yes, I see... I've been digging into BOL; looks like there is quite a bit more involved; encrytion keys, etc.
I was hoping for a quick easy answer but I guess I'm going to have to do some homework on this.
Thanks
