D/A,
Need to provide deployment access in reporting services & also to connect to reporting services engine thru management studio. Pls let me know where to add the domain users. Only deployment access should be provided and user should not gain access to database engine.
Thanks..........

a couple of questions.
1 In reporting services, "Deploy" refers to pushing the reports to the Reporting Service Server. In you situation, Is that what you are saying or are you talking about the production environment?
2 How will the end user access the report? via A web Application you created ot through the Reporting Services Manager?
Anything else that could better explain the situation would help.

1. right.. have to give permission to particular user to connect to reporting services via management studio.. where to add this user group(also there r 3 authentication types windows/basic/forms) which one to select.
2. End user will access using web application.. i.e., using iexplorer.

OK, First what MSSQL are you using? 2005 or 2008?
What are you using to develop your Reports (rdl)? VS2005, VS2008, BI Development Studio?
On the IIS machine, is there a user configured to be a Content Manager for Reporting Services? Is that user local to the IIS/RS server or a Domain user?
Either way you should be able to login to the Reporting Services Manager, the URL
would look like: http:///Reports
Can you do that?
