I have SQL Server 2005 and 2008 installed. In 2005, I have a default instance. When I open VS2008 and try to connect to a database in 2008 (to build reports), SSRS keeps trying to connect to a 2005 instance, so the reporting service connection fails.
How do I fix it so that SSRS connects to the 2008 instance of SQL Server?
Thanks!
Pieter

Go into Visual Studio and use the connection property it even comes with advanced options that let you add all the information of the server you are trying to connect to. Post again if you still need help.
