I want to schedule the report so that it runs on Monday morning for the last calendar week, and on the first of the month for the last calendar month. When it runs I also want to send an email to group of users with a link to the report for the appropriate period.
The report has parameter for ‘Last calendar week’ and ‘Last calendar month’ which works out the appropriate dates for the previous period, so this can be set in the appropriate subscription for email delivery.
However, the report also needs to be rendered from a snapshot as it takes over 2 minutes to run, and I want to build up a history of the reports.
I am having difficulty working out the exact setup of execution / history / parameters and subscriptions to achieve this (without having more than one copy of the report). Can anyone advise me how I can go about setting this up? I can't help feeling that I'm making it far more difficult than it should be!
Many thanks

I think that the answer is simply to forgo the creation of history items...as this requires default parameters. Then I can have multiple subscriptions (set to run the report) each with the appropriate parameter. Not completely ideal...
I can then set the report to render from a cached version...though bizarrely the subscriptions don't seem to create a cached copy unless the email has the report as an attachment - just sending a link is not enough. It sort of makes sense, but it's annoying for the first user to be waiting for several minutes as it creates the first copy that can then be cached.
Unless anyone has a better way to do this?
thanks
