Hi
I have a management report that is made up of 18 sub-reports, each sub-report is of variable length so I don't know before each print run how many pages are involved.
I would like, at the start of the report, after the title page, to include a table of contents that shows page numbers.
Has anyone done it?
Thanks in advance

Instead, consider setting up navigation links that'll allow the userr to jump to that page. For output, recommend (or configure) the report be output to PDF.
Remember, when you're setting up navigation links, consider carefully what you want in the links. Don't put too many in, since it will likely overwhelm the user. And if you what "main links" and "sub links" try indenting the descriptions.
Cheers

Hi
Thanks for the suggestion, however, we are already using the document map for on-screen navigation either through SSRS or PDF.
The purpose of the TOC is specifically for a 50 Page Portfolio Performance report which is sent to clients on a quarterly basis. The TOC therefore must be visible on paper.
Yeah I know, it's not doing the environment any good, but try telling these people that, I've already tried and failed.
Thanks,

I've been searching for the same. Found this fairly hairy workaround - it pertains to SRS 2000, but...

fwiw-I've made a cursory inspection of the following books, to no avail:
