Hi
I have a subscription which creates a CSV file which is then emailed to a number of people outside of the company. This file is getting pretty big now. Is there anyway to set the subscription to compress the file before it sends it?
Thanks

Outside of involving another process, I don't think so.
You could make your subscription create a file, then have another process pick up the file, compress it and send it.

Just out of curiosity, why not use SSIS instead to create the file, then you can invoke another process like the cmd line version of winzip, 7-zip or whatever you choose, and mail it off all in one package. Seems like it might be a better fit for your requirements.
