Report Server on XP

    Is it possible to install the Report Server on Windows XP with IIS Installed and SQL Server Personal Edition?

    If so, how do you do it?

    you can definitely have it installed and running on XP, but I'm not sure if it's compatible with Personal Edition (actually, this proves that it isn't .  The same link shows you the compatible/required system components.

    Ok. According to the link, It looks like I have to uninstall SQL 2000 Personal Edition and install SQL 2000 Developer Edition right?

    I would yes, but remember to back up all of your existing DB's to restore them to the new server.  I've not done a personal to developer install previously, it *might* give you the option to upgrade and then move the DB's for you.
