Hi,
I am getting the error below when I open Report Server URL
The attempt to connect to the report server failed. Check your connection information and that the report server is a compatible version.
It is SSRS 2012 version.
I tried the fix
From: <ReportServerUrl></ReportServerUrl>
To: <ReportServerUrl>http://www.mydomain.com/ReportServer</ReportServerUrl>
From: <ReportServerVirtualDirectory>ReportServer</ReportServerVirtualDirectory>
To: <ReportServerVirtualDirectory></ReportServerVirtualDirectory>
It did not resolve the issue.
Do I need to install IIS for SSRS 2012 and recycle app pool?
I have been stuck with this issue for last 3 days. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks

Are you trying to access it in an internet browser? If so, you don't need IIS to do this.
Is it a fresh install of SSRS you've just made, or is it one that was working previously?
As a silly question, you have checked that the user that is used to connect to the server in the ReprotServer configuration tool has access to the ReportServer Database on the SQl server?
Thom~
