report is slow in design tab

    Hi,

    One of my reports in SSRS seems to be very slow in design tab.

    For example the right click on the chart takes a while to bring up the menu... In general the design page is responding slowly to actions...

    Other reports are ok in design and respond to click actions normally.

    Any thoughts why this particular report is slow in design tab

    From my experience to isolate issue- 1) check report script (SP, etc)- how fast, number of records returned;

    2) check report with smaller input range, i.e. only few output records. This can be a good start in your investigation

    Please note that I did say the problem is in the design tab.

    Issue is NOT during runtime.
