Please bear with me as I am new to SQL reporting. I Have installed a SQL 2005 reporting server for testing. I have connected and created a model for our testing DB which lives on a SQL 2000 server adn is actually on a different domain. Everything has worked fine from the reporting server. I am able to create reports and run them. I tried from a desktop and I cannot run a report. I receive A report Execution Error. The details are:
Login failed for user '(null)'. Reason: Not associated with a trusted SQL Server connection.
----------------------------
Cannot create a connection to data source 'dataSource1'.
----------------------------
An error has occurred during report processing.
What do I need to do in order for a user to test reports?
Thanks,
Larry

You should check the properties of the datasource. Most likely the credentials for the datasource are not stored on the report server. In report manager, find the datasource and edit it so that the credentials required to access the datasource are stored.
Let us know if this does not appear to be the case.
