Report Designer

    I have installed Report Server on a 2003 server and installed Visual Studio.net 2003 on my desktop. All works well and I am able to generate and deploy reports just fine. My question is there another way to get report designer without having to buy Visual Studio.net. I do not need all the different programming languages, I just want to create reports to post to the Report Server. Any Ideas????

    If you don't want to use the full-blown Visual Studio.Net 2003, you can grab a copy of VB.Net approx. US$99. Other than that, your only other option is to type up the RDL in Notepad and upload it via the RS utility or the Report Manager interface.
