  All,

     Is there a way report builder can be used on a XML DataSource or a custom data extension in SQL Server 2005. We need to report data from a XML file rather than a SQL database. Can we create a SMDL from XML and then use it. Will that work?

  RS 2000 doesn't support this feature natively, but I found someone that has implemented an extension to RS that does:

  As far as SQL 2005, its hard for me to believe that MS forgot to include that.
