Hi,
In Report Builder 3 the dates on the report are coming through in the format MM-DD-YYYY however in the data set (source) they are in DD-MM-YYYY format.
I know how we can change them on the report by formatting each column but is there anyway to do this by default, i.e to make all the dates come out in DD-MM-YYYY format, after reading a little it seems that they can take the settings from the client machine however my PC location is set as UK so it doesn't seem to be picking them up.
Also the Report Server is set up as UK, I've confirmed this as well.
Thanks,
Nic

have you tried, opening the report viewing the report properties tab and setting the Localization > Language> to en-GB

Hi Nick,
Yes and this works, but it means for every new report created they will have to do this.
Ideally I wanted to be able to set it at the server level so every report is localised as UK not U.S.
Thanks,
Nic

Hi,
Go to Report Properties change language to User language and also give format to "d" in column or row properties(Number>Format)which you need. It is working to me when I use the application for localization.

Hi,
If I understand this correctly though this would change the dates for only this report.
When Report Builder 3 loads up it is reverting to a US date format, there must be a way to have it default to a UK date format must there?
Perhaps a config file somewhere or something?
Thanks,
Nic
