Hi frends,
This issue is regarding Subscriptions in Reporting Services 2005.
As far as subscriptions are concerned, everything is working fine but when I am trying to send a reply to Administrator / or any end user using Data Delivery extension "ReplyTo"..it is not working at all..
I tried it through my custom application as well as Report Manager which has been provided by Microsoft itself..
but...aahhhhhh!! No...not a gud sign...Its not working at all..
Please help...
Thanks in advance...:)

Hi,
I am just confused what you mean.
when you set up a subscription, you will specify to, cc and reply-to email id. Now subscription sends some email to people specified in To field of subscription. When you reply to that email (u got from reporting services), it will send email to (reply-to) email specified in the reporting services subscription.
R u getting problem to reply your email sent by subscription?

Niraj,
A similar issue with using "replyto" showed up in Database Mail if you had the .NET Framework 2.0 SP1 installed.
Take at look at this blog for some details and links on resolving that: Update on the Ghost of Database Mail

Hi dva....
Thanks for your prompt reply...:)
Yes...you interpreted correctly...I am having issues with ReplyTo field only as it is the only extension which is not working correctly...
Rest all...To, Cc, Bcc fields are sendong mails to proper and concerned e-mail ids...But ReplyTo is not working at all..as I am afraid..it is not showing any error message too....
Please help if you have any solution (s) for this issue....
Thanks alot....

Hi niraj,
That means u r getting email from subscription to ur inbox. Now when you reply email of your inbox then it is not going to reply-to email of subscription. Then where it is going?
It should work fine. If you see your sent email then u can see where it is going? is it sending or not? if yes then which email? Usually when you press reply to your email from subcription then it should appear with reply-to email of subscription.
I dont think there is any other setting required as it is working for rest of the field. Did it work before or you are working with it first time?
Regards,
Vijay
