Hi All,
Right now, we are currently testing replication in Development. In previous testing, I have experienced replication subscriptions needing to be reinitialized over time. If we are to ever move replication to Production, we can't have our subscriptions needing to be reinitialized every now and then. In the publication properties there is a radio button for "subscriptions never expire, but they can be deactivated until they are reintialized". What if we want the replication and never expire AND never be deactivated? Is this possible? I have set up replication manually (without a snapshot) for two tables hoping that maybe this will solve the problem. Any input anyone has would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Adam

Hi,
Not sure what you are getting at here.
Replication has its varied uses, what do you want to use it for. There is no point in configuring it if you only want to use it once in a while. I would suggest an alternative solution.
If you don't mind me asking...what do plan on doing with your replicated environment
