Hi all,
I'm trying to learn about Replication in SQL 2012. I am starting with Snapshot replication and have a question about the Subscriber Synchronization Schedule. My publisher is scheduled for once a day. I figure I could go with Run Continuously, but this seems unnecessary since I know the data is only going to update once a day. If I schedule it, I'm thinking I would need to have it scheduled to synch after the publication has finished getting its new snapshot. Can someone put me on the right path for this concept?

You are right with your thinking. With snapshot replication, for most of the time there is nothing to do. The distribution agent would periodically check the distribution database and find nothing to do, go to sleep for a little while and then try again (only to find there still isn't anything to do). This wouldn't be stressing your server(s) but it does require some work to be done.
The distribution agent will only find something to do when a snapshot is ready to be delivered to the subscriber. So scheduling the distribution agent to be run shortly after the snapshot agent finishes
