Replication Set Up

    I am trying to use EP's Configure Publisher/Subscriber wizard for replication between our local 7.0 server and a remote 2000 SQL Server. I receive the message that @@SERVERNAME is NULL and to execute sp_addserver to fix the error, but after doing so, the problem persists. What do I need to do?

    If I remember it right you have to configure your SQL2000 Server as Distributor. Also when you upgrade your servers or install SP's the distributor has to be done first. You can't have subscribers with a higher version than your distributor.
