  I'm trying to configure a 2012 SQL server to be a publisher that uses

  another server as the distributor. When I go through the screens in

  the wizard it asks me for the administrative password. When I type

  that in correctly it says "can't connect with the specified password

  error 21670"

  Is your distributor also on SQL 2012 ?
