Replication Error - MSSQL_REPL. Error number: MSSQL_REPL20084

    After completing the replication setting, the get this error - The process could not connect to Subscriber : MSSQL_REPL20084.

    I have tried to change the permission to no avail. Please advised.

    Hi,

    more informations please.

    What kind of replication do you use?

    - merge

    - transaction

    - snapshot

    What about your setup, have you dedicated server for publisher, distributor and subscriber?

    Does windows user have enough privileges to connect the subscriber through the isa server.

    Hi,

    Sincere thanks for your feedback. I was designing the transaction replication when I got the error. I did resolve it. It had to do with permissions to the SQL Agent on each of the servers and connections problems.
