  Hi

  When tried to configure publisher iam getting error

  sql server replication does not support nicknames, such as "." or "[local]" as server names

  how can i give name for "local"

  You need to delete your existing SQL Server registration and Register afresh using the actual name of the system/instance of SQL Server.
