Hi,
I have like a orphaned publisher trying to push out a transactional request or something. I can't figure this out i get the below error message, but the actual publisher to subscription (push and subscriber is on another server from the publisher) is working just fine. But, in the SQL error log (on the publisher server) I am still getting the below message? Anybody encounter this or know how to find out where this is coming from and how to get rid of this message? Another note is we did swap servers for the subscriber, but like i said it replication is working just fine.
"Replication-Replication Distribution Subsystem: agent(null)failed. The subscription to publication has expired or does not exist."
Error: 14151, severity: 18, State 1.
Any help is much appreciated! Thanks.

Satish thanks a million it looks like exactly the problem we are having! We are going to first try and re-initialize it, because the stopping of the sql service is not a luxury we have since were in a 24x7 environment. So, if the re-initialize doesn't work we will have to schedule some time out to go down your route. Really appreciate the reference though i think your route will work if re-initialize doesn't. Appreciate it.

Created an account, having to fill out Captcha like thirty times, just to comment this:
Your link is broken. This is the top Google search result for that error message, and it's completely useless because the only solution offered is just a link to a Microsoft forum that redirects to the general forum.
If you're going to have a "solution" that's just a link... don't? You can include a brief excerpt or something that summarizes the problem, but don't just link to Microsoft, who's notorious for generating dead links.
