Hi
Before i start out i know we are not at the current sp level for sql 2008 !
All our servers run SP1 (10.50.2500) and we have replication set up and working.
We have just added a new server, and our hosting company has upgraded it to SP1 (10.50.2550)
I have created a publication for the new server on our distributor and have created the subscription.
However i keep getting an error saying The process could not connect to Subscriber 'server A'the login failed for the user "xxxx"
The logins are correct.
Is this perhaps caused by the mismatch in service pack versions ?

No, you should be OK with the versions you are using
Check that the credentials you are using are valid on the subscriber.

Thanks for the reply
I have fixed the issue. Unknown to me our hosting company, in service packing the server, had ended up doing a complete reinstall and so they had set the authentication method to 'windows only' in the server configuration.
I changed it to 'mixed mode', as our account that connects to the subscriber uses an sql login and now replication is working again - thanks 3rd party supplier for destroying all the server settings that had been configured !!!!!!:w00t:
